There’s a major Lindy Hop weekend coming up in New York City this Memorial Day Weekend!

There will be 3 nights of social dancing with international visitors from Sweden and across Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world.

The weekend will culminate with a 105th Birthday Celebration to honor the Life and Legacy of Frankie Manning at the historic Alhambra Ballroom featuring Charles Turner III and Uptown Swing. The event will include live streaming as part of the global #FrankieMonth celebration.

The weekend will include performances, demonstrations, lectures, interviews, film shows, and panel discussions on the historical context of the Jazz Era and African American roots of Lindy Hop from Harlem.
